As a Senior Product Designer at RetailMeNot, you’ll be on a mission to enhance the end-to-end experience of our customers while shaping the future of online shopping.
About The Role:
We are looking for a talented Senior Product Designer with a strong portfolio and keen eye for UI design to help drive the evolution of the RetailMeNot experience. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners and work closely with the product design team, product managers and engineers. You’ll translate stakeholder requests into product goals and clearly articulate how your designs meet user needs, achieve business objectives and navigate technical constraints. With a bias toward action, you partner with teams in a strong culture of collaborative, data-informed product delivery to help millions of people save money and get rewarded when they shop online.
You will report to the Lead Product Design Manager on the product team. This is a remote role.
Who We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years experience with demonstrated ability to lead the solution of a product area, craft compelling visual experiences and connect that to a broader product vision
- A solid understanding of UX principles and best practices for both web and native mobile applications
- Knowledge of best practices regarding visual design principles of consistency, color, typography, animation and a keen eye for subtle details
- A good grasp of platform-specific UX and UI patterns
- Ability to work through undefined projects, gather what's necessary and begin preliminary work
- Good communication skills + proactive mindset for sharing work early and often
- Proficient in Figma and usertesting.com
- Ability to work proficiently in the design software, keep a clean file and deliver final UI designs in a pixel-perfect manner for handoff to a developer
- Take feedback constructively and be able to pivot quickly if necessary
- Familiar with corporate design systems, how to use them appropriately and ability to push beyond when necessary
Nice to Haves:
- Design system experience (creation and maintenance)
- Designing with accessibility in mind
- Prototyping skills
- Agency or relevant experience working on multiple products, extending design systems and branding across all touch points

- Take the initiative for work from concept and discovery through delivery and beyond
- Be data-driven and have an interest in measuring and improving the experience
- Facilitate user research and testing, ensuring usability and product consistency
